Friday, March 19 – m-pact to perform at Western’s Dalton Recital Hall. As their website notes – the a cappella sextet combines the “smooth soul of Stevie Wonder, the percussive power of Stomp, the funk and drive of Earth, Wind, & Fire, the hip licks of Take 6, and the brass bite of the Harry Connick Jr. Big Band…”.
Saturday, March 20 – 30th Annual Gold Company Invitational Vocal Jazz Festival featuring high school and college vocal jazz ensembles performing throughout the day as well as performances by Gold Company II and Gold Company – one of the most prestigious collegiate vocal jazz artists performing a repertoire covering all styles in the contemporary vocal idiom. |
